Designed in collaboration with the project client and Thengco Structural Engineers.
Located in Yeppoon, Central Queensland, this conceptual cabin was carefully designed to allow for dual occupancy short term stays. The chick of our ‘Kookaburra Lookout Residence’, located within a bushfire prone area, this cabin was also designed with efficiency, resilience and sustainability in mind, making the most of every material while reducing waste. By using full sheets of cladding, full-length timber columns, and the need for no cut and fill to the site, it embraces a thoughtful, resilient and resource-conscious approach—proving that smart design can be both aesthetic and practical!
